Roles and Privileges
Roles and Permissions play a critical role in managing access and control over the different aspects of the app. Different roles such as Admins, Space Owners, and Regular Users have varying levels of access and control over the app’s features and functionality. Understanding the privileges and limitations of each role is essential in ensuring that the app is used efficiently and securely.
Admins: They have access to everything in the app and can perform any action, including adding or removing users, creating or deleting spaces, and managing permissions for all spaces, tables, and columns. Admins can also manage teams and their permissions.
Space Owners: - Can create and delete tables and columns within their space - Can assign permissions for everything within their space to users and teams - Can view and edit all data within their space - Cannot delete their space or remove space owners
Regular Users: - Can view and edit data within tables and columns they have access to - Can be assigned permissions for spaces, tables, and columns by admins and space owners - Cannot create or delete spaces, tables, or columns - Cannot add or remove users from teams - Cannot assign roles to other users
In summary, understanding the roles and permissions within our app is crucial for effective collaboration and data management. Each role has its unique privileges and limitations, allowing for a streamlined workflow and ensuring that sensitive information is protected. By using these roles and permissions effectively, teams can work together efficiently and securely.
